Ingrid Williams

An enthusiastic neurodivergent public servant with over 17 years of experience in various Los Angeles County departments, Ingrid is passionate about increasing access to government resources for underrepresented communities and ensuring that public programs reflect the values and needs of those they serve. In her current role as a Management Fellow with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission, she supports efforts to strengthen accountability, transparency, and community trust with a focus on equity-centered policy development, inclusive engagement, and data-informed decision making.  She joined the Commission in 2018.

Mexican-born and a Los Angeles resident for over 35 years, Ingrid holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Northridge. Outside of her professional work, Ingrid is an avid reader and lifelong learner, currently diving into gardening, bouldering, and trying new recipes. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her kids, going to the movies, and visiting swap meets and garage sales in search of unique finds to upcycle or repurpose.
